Plenty of good hiking trails and it's well signed. It's a nice mix of farm, woods, and meadows. Great place to bike through as well. Oh and they have a small petting zoo with sheep, goats, cows, chickens, and more.

It's easy to navigate, it's beautiful, there is ice cream, cows, goats, pigs and chickens!

There are a crazy amount of trails in this park, really too many such that it is very easy to become lost. It is the biggest park in the area. After December 1st there is no fee to park to hike or walk your dog. Unfortunately, in December the ice cream shop is closed at the dairy farm. It would not be my favorite place to hike but it is peaceful and relaxing. The far north of the park is Ricky and more interesting geologically.

Horseback riders frequent this park. Sometimes there are shows.

How many state parks have ice cream? Well this one does, and the milk is from the cows that live there!

I came with my 4-yo grandson and we both loved it. We took a short hike on the wooded trails. We were both really fascinated by the guided tour of the barn and farm operations. Modern dairy farming is nothing like the dairy farm I remember from my childhood. And we both loved getting up close and personal with the calves and heifers. ( I've never before been on a tour where I was encouraged to stick my fingers in a cow's mouth! It was a new experience for me.) And I can't forget to mention that the ice cream was out-of-this-world delicious.

This is one of my favorite parks. It's very much a part of my life - I've been coming here for twenty years with friends and family to take walks and have picnics.

other dogs will be running around without a leash.

There are bathrooms and you have to pay to park.

It's also a good place for cross country skiing. The rent skis out to those who are interested.

Went here for my first time cross country skiing! Had a blast!! The trails were very good for a first timer and extensive for a full day of fun. Went first thing when it opened and it wasn't too crazy busy.

The park is dog friendly, make sure to have your leash and doggy bags. There's a chance
